3/1/2024 0 Comments Diablo 2 potion mercenary"Wait in town" temporarily dissociates the hireling from you as follows: You continue to fight elsewhere while the hireling stays in town and does not recieve experience or potions- as well, the merc inventory at this point cannot be opened. Dismissing a hireling frees it from your command- behaviour is as follows: In the current instance of this town, as long as at least one player remains in the town, so too will the dismissed hireling- when all players have left, the hireling disappears - this behaviour is analogous to NPC store item regeneration While in town, your mercenary loses its 'ethereal' property, that is, on mouseover, the merc lights up like an npc and on clicking, a menu appears with the following two options: "Wait in town" and "Dismiss" (seems to be the easiest of the above problems, as many characters can have multiple summons, even of the same type.)īesides the above, I was also wondering about a general enhanced merc mod which would include ONLY the following: does pressing "O" several times tab through the mercs? What about hotkeys, what sort of interface logic would we use? (the data structure was able to handle the merc mod and extended stashes of several mods) I'm wondering if it's possible to increase the number of hirelings that a player can have and what it would entail.Ĭan the save file format handle another merc?
